The winners of the 16th edition of the International Multi Comfort Student Contest 2020 / 2021

On May 14, Saint-Gobain presented the awards for the international final of its 14th Multi Comfort House Student Contest following the competition held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and chaired by Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Saint-Gobain group, and Dubai Municipality representatives.

The General Delegate for the Mediterranean General Delegation of Saint-Gobain, Gianni SCOTTI, has officially opened the Espacio Saint-Gobain Barcelona, in a ceremony held with about 150 attendees. The Espacio Saint-Gobain Barcelona has 1,500 square meters of surface and aims to bring together the professionals of the construction sector and materials and solutions of Saint-Gobain to create comfortable and innovative spaces.

From February 15th to March 25th, Saint-Gobain Group in Spain has participated for the second year in a row, at the most important exhibition of interior design and decoration of the Spanish scene: Casa Decor 2018. After the success of last year, where more than 43 000 visitors attended the event, Saint-Gobain could not miss the 53rd edition of Casa Decor, to demonstrate how design and comfort can create great living places.

The edition number 14 of the MultiComfort House Student Contest will be held next May in Dubai with students representing more than 25 countries. The contest is open to individual students or teams. The task this year is to develop a transcultural vibrant community by combining residential and public spaces, taking into account climatic conditions and regional context.

Nowadays, Multi Comfort has become a quite important topic for sustainability and the wellbeing of each of us, and that is why some specialized media have an interest in raising its awareness by demonstrating through real life projects what can be done around this subject. This time, we are very proud about being published twice by the magazine “Passive House +”. This magazine communicates about sustainable construction worldwide and sensitizes about new ways of conceiving habitat.
