This project involved the renovation of the office block at one of Saint-Gobain’s own plants in Puchberg, Austria.
The resulting building achieved both Passivhaus and Saint-Gobain’s own internal CARE4 certification, as well as receiving an Energy Globe Award and the Austrian TRIGOS award for best Corporate Social Responsibility practice.
Highlights and challenges
The key challenge was to create a mixed use building in the harsh climate of the Austrian mountains.
The new build project used a wide range of Saint-Gobain products and solutions to successfully achieve the overall objective and meet Saint-Gobain's design standards.
