The 2026 Edition of the International Student Contest, organized by the Saint-Gobain Group in close cooperation with the City of Belgrade, the Academic Yachting Club Belgrade, the Green & Blue Corridors Association and the Serbia Green Building Council, presents a unique opportunity to transform a significant section of Belgrade's Sava riverfront. The challenge is to develop a visionary "Sport and Recreation Hub" that revitalizes the former cement factory site and integrates the existing Academic Yachting Club Belgrade into a dynamic and sustainable public space.

The task for this unique 20^th Edition of the Architecture Student Contest by Saint-Gobain in close cooperation with the city of Villefontaine, the Grands Ateliers, the village of Chimilin, the French National Assembly, the Alliance HQE-GBC, is to develop a residential area (visiting students, and professors) in an area located near the Grands Ateliers, and the renovation of an old school building in Chimilin into a multi-use building for local associations and organizations.

The task of the 19^th edition of the Architecture Student Contest by Saint-Gobain in close cooperation with Helsinki University and the City of Helsinki is to develop a residential area (for citizens, and researchers) in an area located near the Viikki research Farm and Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Helsinki University is the property owner of the contest task area and has commissioned Helsinki City to provide a development plan for the coming years.

The task of the 18^th edition of the Architecture Student Contest by Saint-Gobain, is to develop a proposal for the revitalization with public and cultural use of the plot included in the Boavista Landfill urban area, currently belonging to the City Hall.

The task of the 17^th Architecture Student Contest by Saint-Gobain Group is to design the revitalisation of an area located next to the Warszawa Wschodnia (Warsaw East) railway station, through a combination of social activation and residential functions.

In the 16^th International Edition of the Saint-Gobain Student Contest the task is to design a Sustainable Development Park combining residential, educational and recreational functions.

The 15^th International Edition of the Saint-Gobain Student Contest developed by Saint-Gobain in close collaboration with Milan Municipality is the Rejuvenation and urban reconnection of Crescenzago metro station area in line with #milano2030 vision.

The task for 14^th International Edition of Saint-Gobain Student Contest developed by ISOVER in close collaboration with Dubai Municipality and Dubai Properties Group is the development of a vision for a transcultural vibrant community development located in the perimeter of Cultural Village of Dubai.

The task for 13^th International Edition of Saint-Gobain Student Contest developed by ISOVER in close collaboration with Department of Architecture of Municipality of Madrid is the Urban Regeneration of a community within the perimeter of Gran San Blas area of Madrid.

The task for 12^th International Edition of Saint-Gobain Student Contest developed by ISOVER in close collaboration with the Department of Architecture of Brest City is the design of a residential function taking in to account the community development situated in Brest, Belarus.

The task for the 11^th International Edition of Saint-Gobain Student Contest developed by ISOVER in close collaboration with the Department of Architecture of National Company "Astana EXPO-2017" is the design of a residential function in Astana, Kazakhstan located in the perimeter of the post exhibition residential expansion of International Exhibition EXPO 2017.

The participants to Saint-Gobain Student Contest 2014 Edition are request to design a school that combined classical school elements with modern learning facilities taking in to account the existing realities for the new ECO Project developed by the Municipality of Gaziantep, Turkey

The participants to Saint-Gobain Student Contest 2013 Edition were required to present a vision of the future development of some parts of the "Gluckstein Quartier" in Mannheim, Germany, taken into account the existing realities.

The subject of theSaint-Gobain Student Contest 2012 Edition consists in the design of a sustainable community within the regeneration program of the Trent Basin area, Nottingham, UK.

The subject of the 2010 competition was the creative approach to the concept of energy efficient constructions at the passive-house level on existing buildings. The aim was to redesign an existing post industrial building, patient based on an old warehouse in Paris (France)

The challenge of the International Saint-Gobain Student Contest in 2009 was to design an office complex built according to the passive-house standards  The planned office building was supposed to be Saint-Gobain ISOVER's new headquarters.

The task of the Saint-Gobain Student Contest 2008 was to design a school that combined classical school elements with modern learning facilities.
 

The task of the International Saint-Gobain Student Contest 2007 was to design a detached house for one family. The choice of location was unrestricted, although the house should take a favorable passive-house form and be suited to its surrounding natural and cultural environment.

The task of the International Saint-Gobain Student Contest 2006 was to reconstruct an existing industrial building in Bucharest into a dance club.

The task for the International Saint-Gobain Student Contest in 2005 was to make a submission for the Mountain Hotel which fulfilled the thermal insulation requirements of a "passive house" building.
