Peker Arkadii Yosipovich, born in 1948. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute in Baku in 1971.
From 1971 he worked at the Gipromorneft Institute in Baku, from 1973 at GiproNIIneft in Kiev, from 1975 at Kyiv ZNDIEP, where he worked his way up from senior architect to head of the workshop.
Since 1995 he has been working at the Faculty of Architecture of KNUBA as a docent of the Department of Architecture Theory. At one time with teaching, he continues active project activities, working in collaboration with design organizations.
He was the author and chief architect of projects for a series of residential buildings built in more than 30 cities of the USSR: zonal series of typical projects for the cities of Zhanatas, Balkhash, Zhairem, Ust-Kamenogorsk in Kazakhstan, 4-storey large-panel and monolithic residential buildings in Kirovakan (Vanadzor) in Armenia after the Spitak earthquake; series of residential buildings in the cities of Dmitrovgrad, Shadrinsk, Alapaevsk, Bodaibo, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Talon of the Magadan Region, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod and others in Russia; series of residential buildings for construction in Ukraine with production of products at DSK in Kuryazh, Feodosia, Zaporozhye, Kiev; 20-22-storey frame-monolithic house in Kiev and many others.
He actively participates in architectural competitions, publishes articles in scientific collections.
