Symbiosis. An elevated habitat.
Project description
The elevated habitat and symbiosis of a fast-paced city and grounded nature, surrounded by greenery and bird songs throughout. By connecting the site via pathway and accentuating the green canvas of Viikki as well as preserving a sense of history, an ecological and highly elevated approach is taken to ensure sustainability, longetivity and usability of the campus as such – for pedestrians and cyclists as a priority, to move into a greener future for everyone.

Lecturer at Riga Technical University (RTU) Institute of Architecture and Design (ADI). Certified architect, Mg. Arch., leading architect and owner of LLC "Arhitektu birojs MG arhitekti". Member of Association of Latvian Architecture (LAS), expert, in 2023 together with his colleagues he participated in the Latvian Architecture Year Award competition, which is the most important award and the biggest event of the year in Latvian architecture. Annual supervisor of diploma theses at RTU ADI, jury member of LAS organized competitions. Has developed a series of recognizable and acclaimed objects.
