The Stream
Project description
Helsinki, originally means city on streams, so indentation of biodiversity between structures, like stream between canyon, was direct inspiration. Monolith residential structures on the perimeter are used as "biodiversity shield" in order to protect inner sensitive content. Final form is characteristic by sustainability semi-public zone between private and public content, all connected with copper roof-like structure that represent sun-shading and rainwater-collecting system all at once.
