The Trellis
Project description
Our project envisions a vibrant community embracing individuals of all ages, from students and families to researchers, serving as a dynamic hub in the area. Our goal is to craft sustainable and contemporary environments that seamlessly blend community, culture, and urban connectivity. Drawing inspiration from trellises, our design not only invites nature indoors but also initiates a harmonious exchange between the interior spaces and the surroundings.

Dr Bhakti More is Chairperson & Professor, School of Design & Architecture, Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai and has pursued doctoral studies, University of Salford, Manchester, UK and has worked as Project Architect in Consultancies in Dubai with over two decades of experience in industry and academia. She coordinates MECS students club which received consecutive awards, Best Sustainable Green Campus Audit, Best Sustainability Action Project from Environment Agency Abu Dhabi, and coordinates MAHE Dubai Climate Action Plan UNFCC, Race to Zero.
