GNEZ – DOM
Project description
GNEZDOM is a project based on the combination of the Serbian word gnezdo (nest) and the Polish word dom (home). Like birds building nests from materials found in their surroundings, we use the remains of the former cement plant to create a new structure for living. Through material recycling, adaptive reuse of existing buildings, silos transformed into a river filtration system, and added greenery, the site becomes an open, community-oriented space for sport, nature, and recreation in Belgrade.
