Smola Josef 1958 architect, publicist, lecturer. Through his designs, he has associated his name with passive houses and modern wooden houses in the Czech Republic in media and as a teacher. He was one of the founding members and a long-standing chairman of Czech Passive House Center. He is an author of many books in his field of expertise. He teaches young architects the passive housing design at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, and two other schools.
