Dr Bhakti More

Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai Campus
Dr Bhakti More is passionate about encouraging the Youth in Sustainability Initiatives. She is the Co-ordinator for the Manipal Environment Conservation Society (MECS). Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai Campus has received ‘Best Green Campus Audit’ and ‘Best Sustainability Action Project’ for Sustainability Campus Initiative by Environment Agency, Abu Dhabi. She believes that youth are the change markers and have a major role in the Sustainable future. Dr Bhakti is currently leading the student’s team for DEWA Solar Decathalon ME 2021 for research and innovation for designing a solar powered house.
Dr Bhakti has pursued her doctoral studies from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK and has over two decades of experience in the design industry and academia. Currently, she is the Deputy Chairperson & Associate Professor at the School of Design & Architecture, Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai Campus. Dr Bhakti is the ‘Woman in Construction Ambassador’ for the Big 5 and has been part of D&I Initiative ‘Manipal Beyond Gender’.
