"Terroir" becomes the foundation of this architectural vision—where land, culture, and community converge. Rooted in the unique character of Nord Isère, the project explores how architecture can emerge organically from the landscape, crafting a built environment that resonates with its natural and cultural context.

Sam graduated with a Diploma in Architecture (Part I) with First Class Honours in 2004, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Part II) with First Class Honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He was the Gold Medalist and Overall Best Student for both qualifications, and received Best Graduates Award (Part I) and PAM Best Student Award (Part II) from Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM). Sam is a registered architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM), a corporate member of the PAM, and a professional member of the Malaysia Green Building Council.
