Re: Light draws from the Nord-Isère region’s cultural and agricultural roots, weaving light, timber, and tradition into a vibrant community hub. The project reinterprets sustainable materials and open forms with rural heritage, inviting interaction through a luminous festival space and layered public program. Pieter Greyvensteyn is a South African academic, architect and artist. He is lecturer in architecture at Tshwane University of Technology where he teaches design, theory and history. The design studio favors making; recently they have been producing a series of concrete street furniture in public spaces. He researches popular culture and has published on architectural design and fashion on the international forum. He obtained a Doctor of Architecture at TUT in 2024. He has practiced as an architect on small-scale projects. He has also participated in various group exhibitions.
