Meandering Confluence

Project description

Meandering Confluence reshapes Belgrade’s Sava riverfront through a retreated edge, lifted terrain and ecological buffers that mediate between river habitat and New Belgrade. Zone A forms elevated boat-house clusters behind the wetland buffer, while a linear kafana-inspired belt activates the urban side. Zone B preserves the Academic Yachting Club’s boating identity while adding birdwatching, education and exhibition programs. Together, ecology, sport, settlement and public life coexist.
