Sponge
Project description
Sponge reclaims a flood-prone industrial site at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. The master plan follows the terrain's natural contours, organizing dormitories, community spaces, and a yacht club across Nature to Fixed zones. Retention basins between building clusters manage floodwaters while sustaining wetland ecology. An energy positive community center bridges the river and residence.
