Voici Les Papillons
Project description
We propose a dialogue between heavy and light. Rammed-earth wall rise from the land to establish a datum across the site. Modular wood panels fill the spaces between, adapting to the earth walls. A utility-bearing boardwalk links the campus to the surrounding farmland, allowing visitors to wander through without interruption. We harness the inherent properties of our materials to develop passive strategies that support the shared mission of the Grands Ateliers and the community of Chimilin.
